Brewer, Maxine M., 92, homemaker, died Mon., May 30, 2005. Visitation with family 6-8:00 p.m., Fri., service 1:00 p.m., Sat., both at Resthaven Mortuary. Preceded in death by husband Herman, parents, George & Bertha Herd, 1 brother, 3 sisters and 1 granddaughter. Survivors: son DeLee and wife Jean of Milton, FL, daughters Harlean and husband Rex Martin of Wichita, Marjorie and husband Martin Webster of Coldwater, brothers, Dewayne and Hern Herd both of Protection, James Herd of Wichita, Ward Harmon of Ft. Dodge, sisters, Velma Wimmer of Ft. Smith, AR, Margaret Watts of Wichita, 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. Donations may be sent to any organization of your choice.

My Aunt Maxine will be sorely missed. I will always have many wonderful memories etched in my heart. Upon my Mother's passing Maxine took me under her wing as one of her own. The wonderful times we spent together as family will alway be treasured.

As I remember Maxine as one of my many favorite great aunt's..I remember her as a remarkable, intelligent, beautiful woman that will always be in my memory, and I will miss her greatly.
