September 18, 1960 - January 27, 2021
Wichita, Kansas - 60, passed away January 27, 2021. Funeral Service, 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 29, at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. A Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 p.m., at Highland Cemetery in Gueda Springs, Kansas. Phil was born September 18, 1960 in Dodge City, Kansas. He grew up in Arkansas City, Kansas, and graduated from high school there. Phil holds a dual Bachelor's degree from Southwestern College. He worked in the aircraft industry for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, baseball and reading, as well as geology and a curiosity for the mysteries of the unknown. Phil was preceded in death by his mother, Dorthy Faye Burdick. Survivors include his wife, Wanda whom he married on January 13, 1977; children, Jennifer (Jeremiah) Burian and Angela (Troy) Walker; grandchildren, Tehya Beall, Tyler Walker, Austin Walker and Brynn Walker; father, Harold Donald Perry of Arkansas City; brothers, David and Jim of Wichita, Jeff of Arkansas City, and many nieces and nephews.
