Reon Friesen Obituary

Friesen, Reon R. 55, died April 2, 2017, at her home in Wichita. She was born January 25, 1962, to Sam Jr. and Pearl (Meisner) Patzkowsky, in Okeene, OK. On May 5, 1984, she married Al Friesen in Fairview, OK. She is survived by her husband, Al Friesen of Wichita, KS; son, Darren Friesen of Denver, CO; daughter, Reandra Friesen of Denver, CO; father, Sam Patzkowsky, Jr. of Fairview, OK; stepsister, Wynetta Garrett and husband, Terry of Pocasset OK; stepbrother, Keith Nikkel and wife, Rosemary of Corn, OK. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl (Meisner) Patzkowsky, and stepmother, Dorothy (Nikkel) Patzkowsky. Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at Harvest Community Church, 8340 W. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS 67205. Minister Wesley Meisner, uncle of Reon, will be presiding. Donations may be made to the Reon Friesen Memorial Fund at The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration, Randor Station Building 2, Suite 320, 290 King of Prussia Rd, Randor, PA 19087, or donate online at www.theaftd.org.
