Richard Boswell

September 15, 1939 - January 3, 2025

Rose Hill, Kansas - Richard Eugene Boswell, age 85, loving father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2025 after a lengthy illness.

Visitation with the family will be 5-7pm Friday, January 10, at Smith Mortuary in Derby, KS. Memorial service 2pm Sunday, January 12, at Victory Church in Rose Hill, KS.

Richard worked as a teacher and coach for over 30 years and then as a Real Estate agent for over 40 years before retiring in 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Myrtle Boswell; his wife, Beverly; sons, Terry Ray, Kevin and Ricky Boswell. Richard is survived by his daughter, Janet Webster of Rose Hill; grandchildren, Carly (Dakota) Zeit, Devin (Morgan) Boswell, Mackenzie Webster, and Makayla Webster, daughter-in-law, Gina Boswell, great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Quinn Zeit and Maverick and Ryleigh Boswell, and many friends who were like family.
