Conway, Arkansas - Richard "Dean" James passed away early Saturday morning, July 27, 2024, after long battles with cancer, heart disease, and kidney disease. He was 78 years old at the time of his passing. He was a longtime employee of Southwest Airlines and retired in 2012.
Dean is survived by his wife of 36 years, Virginia Lingg James; his sister, Dr. Joyce Simon and her husband John Simon; two daughters, Tammie Batemon and her husband, David Batemon, and Deborah Gonzalez; five grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. He was greatly loved by his family and friends, and he will be missed.
