Rodney Delano Fogo
October 27, 1933 - November 16, 2022
Saint Augustine, Florida - Rodney D. Fogo, 89, former CEO/Chief Engineer of the Kansas Turnpike Authority (KTA), passed away peacefully November 16, 2022 in Saint Augustine, FL.
A graduate in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University, Rod began his career as a design engineer for the City of Wichita. He was later named County Engineer for Jewell County.
Rod managed the Kansas Turnpike for 29 years prior to his retirement. He was also named President of the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Authority (IBTTA) in Venice, Italy.
He is survived by his wife of over 65 years, Rada J. (McCormick) Fogo; daughter Karen (Fogo) See; son Michael Fogo; granddaughter Rachel See and grandson Kevin See.
At his request there will be no funeral service. He and his wife will be jointly inured in the National Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL at the time of her passing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name with the Tunnel2Tower (www.t2t.org) for Wounded Warriors.
