I was so sadden and schocked on learning of Ron's demise. It hurt so very much because he and I grew as a team during the Christmas holidays. Ron being the professional photographer, he would keep
"Santa" (myself) inline while taking the photos. I wlll always remember Ron for his
friendly and sincere atitude.

I loved Ron almost like a second father figure. I learned a lot from him about appreciation of the outdoors and how fun life can be if you maintain a spirit of adventure. He and I went on several wild adventures together either on a dirt bike or on skis and I loved it all. I will never forget him and my life is and will always be so much better because of his influence.

I am so sadden and remorseful about the loss of our dear friend Ron. I remember all the wonderful moments we shared with him as a professional photographer, a mentor in high school and a friend and guest at our family events. I thank you Ron for all the photography secrets that you taught me over these years and for being a fun and wonderful person. I and my family will miss you dearly, thank you for your art you gave us and you will always be remembered lovingly. RIP

Chris,
It's been a long time since my mother was at the Regency and I attended your wedding. I have a beautiful picture of Mother and me that Ron took the Easter before she passed away. If I remember correctly,Ron was dressed as the Easter bunny that day! My thoughts and prayers are with you in your loss.

Ron's family and mine were long time neighbors in El Paso on Dublin Street- All the kids in the neighborhood called his Mom and Charlie Aunt Lil and Uncle Charlie. One of my favorite memories of Ron is after he had broken his leg( cant remember how!) He would get on his skate board at the top of the street, then ride down as fast as he could, grabbing onto the street sign and swing around! He will be missed, and always fondly remembered by the Austins

RIP my friend. Ron and I were friends for over 30 years and spent lots of time riding dirt bikes, skiing and camping. We spoke not to long ago on the phone and It's like we always picked up right where we left off even if a year had passed. I will miss you brother.

Chris,,, I'm so very sorry for your loss.. Ron took pictures for me at the Eastside YMCA for our basketball teams. I remember when you two met. The wedding. And all the dreams of the Bed and Breakfast house you wanted to open in New Mexico... Meeting you while I was still in Nursing School and then again as you were an Activities Director for some of my patients at Royal Estates. Thanks for the CPR CLASSES. I pray that GOD gives you strength at this difficult time and warms your heart with wonderful memories. Sincerely, Eileen Metzkow
