Ronnie was always a friend to Scott and I. Anytime we needed help with anything he would be there. He was a good hearted man who would give anything to help someone out. I remember nights that we would just sit around and talk, always ended in some pretty interesting conversations that would stretch into hours of talking. He will truly be missed.

I did not personally know Ronnie. My brother Todd Ruge was his best friend. Through the years I have been greatly entertained by the stories of their antics. I know it was hard for Todd to come home for the funeral but I am glad that he did. Thank-you Ronnie for being such a great friend to my brother. I did not cry the entire time that Todd was home but today I am. I hurt for his loss and your families loss. I hope to continue to be entertained by Todd and his stories of all the fun that you had. Rest In Peace.

I worked with Ronnie at Cornerstones of Care. He was passionate with working with the youth in the program. He was like a little brother to me. I will miss Ronnie as well as others. My sincere sympathy to the family.

I met Ronnie in the mid 90's when we were both going through some difficult times. Although we were different in many ways our personalities clicked. We were roommates for the better part of five years, five wild years. Our antics during those years are still legendary in some circles.
My moves to Texas and North Carolina didn't break our friendship, we stayed in contact and would still see each other on occasion. Ronnie was the consummate friend, telling me things I needed to hear whether I wanted to hear them or not. He would challenge me to do things I couldn't believe were possible.
Through life's many changes and time Ronnie was one of the few constants in my life. Ronnie was thoughtful, caring and complex all at the same time. He will certainly be missed.
