Ron was the President of my fraternity at Emporia, Kansas. He influenced and shaped my life in ways that I wasn't even aware of at the time. He was someone that we looked up to and knew was special. He helped to make us all at Sigma Tau Gamma better people. When he graduated and moved on, I remember the sense of loss, of his leadership and presence. Today, learning of his passing, stuns and saddens me beyond words. He was a great leader and a wonderful human being. I could only hope to one day be a fraction of the man that he was. It was an honor to know you Ron. Thank You for being part of my life. May God rest your soul.

I built Ron's house in Wichita and lived with him for a time in the Mid 80's. But ultimately he was a true friend to me during a difficult time in my life. He was a kind and caring man and I want to say thank you.

Years ago Ron was an outstanding member of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Central South Carolina. He cared about our students and was a great role model.
My thoughts, prayers and heartfelt sympathy are with his family.
