Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I have great memories of passing thru Wichita on our way to Grandma Zimmerman's house. We always stopped to see you all and Uncle Jake's too.

Dear Rose's family,
All of you are in our prayers and I will be having a couple of masses said for Rose at my parish. There are many fond memories but two stand out. I remember when she started working for us, she came up to dad and said that she had a black thumb and couldn't get anything to grow. I think this proved out after a few months working with us.
Rose was self-conscious regarding her short-stature in height. Dad was about six inches taller than Rose. Dad would purposely set something a little higher than she could reach and when he saw her stepping on tiptoes to reach it, he would say "Rose, all you need is a piece of paper under your heal". At first she would get a little angry at dad until she realized what he was doing. Many more good memories of Rose working at the Lohkamp gardens.

Dwayne, Cindy, Kym, and families...Our prayers are with all of you as you mourn the loss of your mother and grandmother. Rose was such a special lady and will be missed by so many. You were blessed to have such a caring and giving mom. Thank you so much for sharing her with us the past three years and allowing her to be part of our family. She has touched our lives and we will never be the same...

Dear Cindy, Dwayne, and Kim,
I wanted to send you a note, as we just learned of your Mom's passing. My Mom, Lorraine, wanted you all to know how sweet your Mom was to her, when she first married my Dad, Al, and welcomed her into the family. I have wonderful memories of my family visiting with you on Sunday afternoons so many years ago. You're in our prayers.
