Newton, Kansas - Survived by his son: Kevin (Diane) Henderson, Halstead; daughter: Lori (Rick) Rose, Huntsville, TX daughter-in-law: Lois (Dan) Henderson, Marion; seven grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife: of 46 years and mother of his children Norma Henderson, son: Daniel Henderson, and wife: Annette Henderson.
Tom entered the U.S. Air Force in 1950, serving honorably as a Medic/Radiologic Technologist in both the Korean and Vietnam War, retiring in 1973 as a Tech Sargent.
After his retirement from the USAF, Tom worked as the Director of Radiology at Hertzler Clinic until 1986, as well as founding N. T. And H. Enterprises, Silver Recovery Service along with his wife Norma in 1979.
Friends may call Monday, November 8 from 2pm – 8 pm the family will be present 6:30-8:00pm.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, November 9, both at Kaufman Funeral Home Halstead with Pastor Richard Rehmert officiating.
Interment will follow at Wichita Park Cemetery, 3424 E 21st St N, Wichita.
Memorials may be given to Kansas Honor Flights in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, 418 Chestnut, Halstead KS 67056.
