I still can't believe the news - had the pleasure to know and work with Scott thru our studies at UW-Stevens Point and at campus radio station WWSP. He was a true talent sticking out in the new age of "bland" radio. I'll miss you!

I met Scott in 1998 when I became a frequent guest on Driver's afternoon show on T-95. Wherever radio took Driver and me, we remained in contact with Scott, and even spent time with he and Rhiannon in Wisconsin a few years ago. I really wasn't ready for the news that he's gone. Now he's our very own 'Spirit in the Sky' and you can bet that he is happier there than he was here. Rock on, Big Scott...and know that you are truly missed.

Everyone who was lucky enough to know Scott was truly blessed. He was so beautiful on the inside and I'll always remember singing karaoke with him at Champs. Scott was a great neighbor, coworker, and friend.

I'm still in a state of shock. After hearing about the passing of Big Scott / The Coach, I find myself in denial. He was a true radio legand. Nothing against Phil and Hank but the T-95 morning show should have been called the "Coach Show". He did a wonderful job driving the show. Even as plain ol' Big Scott he was great. He steered away from the cookie cutter world of modern radio and provided entertainment for the masses. The world of rock and sports will really miss you Scott! I will also miss you as the voice of the Wranglers. I look forward to hearing you through that big boom box in the sky.

I would laugh aloud in the car when the coach would come on the air - I enjoyed his reports and humor . . . T95 and Wichita has truly lost a great personality and man. Prayers and thoughts to his family.
