Sean Brady Obituary

Brady, Sean Evan, passed away on May 21st, 2008 to become another of God's angels. Sean was born on February 16th 1988 at St. Francis Hospital, in Wichita, Kansas and grew up in Bellevue and Clyde Hill, Washington. Sean graduated from Sacred Heart School in 2002 and Seattle Preparatory School in 2006. Sean attended the University of Kansas his freshman year before transferring to play football at Carroll College in Helena, Montana where he just completed his sophomore year. He was an engineering major like his mother and father. He was a member of the fraternity of Lambda Chi Alpha at KU. Sean's greatest loves were cars, playing football, and hanging out with his friends. He was a great role model to his brothers and many other younger kids who knew him. He was generous, thoughtful and fiercely loyal to his friends. Sean was a true example of humility and openness. The multitude of people who came to give their love and support to Sean, his family, and each other in his last difficult days was a tribute to the positive way his life affected those around him. He will be missed and kept in loving memory by all that knew him. Sean leaves behind his mother, Sharon Evans-Miner; father, Chris Brady; his brothers, Chad Brady 17, and Bradley Miner 8; step father, Brad Miner; step mother, Molly Brady; his grandparents, Conrad and Lucille Brady, and Dave and Rita Miner; and many more relatives, friends and extended family members in Washington, Kansas, and across the country - in particular those who shared their time with Sean at Sacred Heart School, Seattle Prep, KU, Carroll College, and his fellow baristas at Tully's. A vigil will be held on Tuesday, May 27th at 7:00pm at Sacred Heart Church in Bellevue, WA with a preceding visitation at 6:00pm. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, May 28th at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Church. In honor of Sean and to further the effort towards the treatment of cancer, donations may be made to the Sean Brady Foundation for Cancer Research and Treatment. Please visit "seanbrady" at www.caringbridge.org for contact information. There will also be a blood drive at the Clyde Hill Tully's in Sean's memory, date to be announced.
