I worked for Stan MANY years ago at his studio in Oakley. I spent 3 summers doing everything from mowing to reshingling the barn to helping customers. I have fond memories of working for him and am very sad to hear of his passing. My heart and prayers go to his wife, son, and family.

Dear Clark Family We are very sorry to hear of Stan's untimely death. We felt he was a very good senator for the state of Kansas,I believe the state has lost one of the most honest & upstanding Senators that was ever elected. Stan was the greatest person I ever had the privilege of working for. In my internship with Stan not only did he educate me in the procedural side of politics, but he actually showed me the human side to every issue. Stan was selfless in every thing I witnesses, and will always serve as a constant reminder to me of they person we should all strive to become.

Ruth, Will, and family:

I am deeply sorry to hear about the loss of Stan. It was a pleasure to work with him as his intern for two years. In his own special way he taught me so much about life that went beyond that of politics. The lessons I learned while working for him have been carried on into my own career since. He was a brilliant and caring man and I wish I could have helped him out more. I will greatly miss him and will keep you in my prayers. God Bless.

Stan was a wonderful, compassionate legislator. I have heard him described as a 'gentle man' and these words are so appropriate. His faith was the center of his life. He will be greatly missed.

Ruth and Will,

I am so sorry for your great loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know how much the Classens enjoyed spending time with you and Stan in your home when they traveled through your area. They shared pictures of you and your home and always talked fondly of their times spent with you. It was very difficult for me to call them with the tragic news (they were on a camping trip). Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and we care deeply for you. I write that for my family and the many friends you have here in Sturgis. We all love you! My prayer is that you will feel God's love and sustaining grace and comfort as you face the days ahead. He cares deeply for you! Rosetta
