Harry Allen Turner

Harry Allen Turner, 68, died Thursday, February 5, 2026, at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado. He was born March 1, 1957, in Wakeeney, Kansas, the son of Wesley James & Hanna Esther (Mai) Turner.

Harry grew up on a farm in the Grinnell, Kansas area where he learned about hard work and responsibility. He attended schools in Grinnell and graduated from Grinnell High School in 1975. He then moved to Garden City where he attended and graduated from Garden City Junior College in 1977. Harry worked as a Master Electrician for Geier Electric for 30 years. He later worked at The Home Depot for about 20 years, and using his knowledge to help other people, he had his own consulting business "Harry's Consulting." He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Oakley, Kansas. Harry enjoyed building lamps, woodworking, listening to Gospel music, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Harry was known as a loving, caring, and patient man.

Survivors include several Aunts and Uncles; and his chosen daughter Rebecca and her children Adam, Adrian, & Alexandra.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Oakley, Kansas with Rev. Jody Walter officiating. Burial will follow at the Gove Cemetery in Gove, Kansas. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, at Garnand Funeral Home, in Garden City.
