Stanley "Stan" Eugene Dyer

August 2, 1941 - July 2, 2025

Wichita, Kansas - Stanley Eugene "Stan" Dyer, 83, of Whitney, TX, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025. Born August 2, 1941, in Springfield, MO, Stan was the beloved husband of the late Ellen Marie Dyer.

He is survived by his son, Brian Dyer, and stepchildren: Denise Blake (Rob), Derek Nicholson (Lenea), Daren Nicholson (Michelle), and Dana Compagnone (Craig). He was a proud grandfather to 12 and great-grandfather to 7. Stan is also survived by his siblings: Patsy Marion, Max Dyer, Harley Dyer, Sherel Slocum (Scott), Linda Dyer, and JoEtta Range (Michael). He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Pearl (Grider) Dyer, and siblings Carol Belles and Robert Dyer.

Stan served honorably aboard the USS Enterprise with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and spent his career at Boeing in Wichita, KS.

After retirement, he and Ellen embraced the RV lifestyle - exploring the country and riding their Goldwing motorcycle through all 48 lower states, Mexico, and Canada.

Stan will be remembered for his steady presence, quiet strength, and adventurous spirit. Per his wishes, no services will be held.
