Altha, Florida - Steven Alexander Trent was born in Dodge City, KS on July 7, 1954 to Jackson and Evelyn Trent. He died June 14, 2021 at Jackson Hospital, FL. Steven graduated from DCHS in 1972. He and his father owned and operated Trent Dirt Contracting in Dodge City. In Wichita, KS, Steve owned and operated Dancing in Paradise until retirement. He loved dirt track racing, NASCAR, traveling, dancing, riding his motorcycle, and SO, Myleena. He was a member of the Goldwing Club and Romeos.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Evelyn Trent. Steven is survived by his SO, Myleena Mesker, Altha, FL; children, Michelle Bass (Brian) of Colwich, KS, Sarah Trent of Wichita, KS, Jake Trent of Cheney, KS; and grandkids Brianna, Bayli, and Jaysen.
Memorial will be at Venue 3130, 3130 W. Central, Wichita, KS Wednesday, June 30th from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots, or your favorite charity.
