I could not have asked for a better friend than Tom. We barefoot skied together for many years. Even let me stay in his spare bedroom for a time after my divorce. and refused to accept any rent money. Tom was a good guy.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. So sorry for your loss and wish I'd been able to attend his service. I only knew Tom through a place I used to work at (Wichita Urology)but loved to tease him about how "quiet" he was... he was such a nice man and, I'm sure, be missed by many. Rest in peace Tom.

Lisette and Cerise,
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was such a good friend of mine. My Dad introduced him to me about 15 years ago when I needed good car repairs. Infact, my son Luke who works at Rusty Eck, rolled his car about 10 years ago and Tommy fixed it knocking it out with a Sledge Hammer. No one could have fixed that Car but Tommy. I will miss him so very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

Tom was a good man, he had a heart. I used to work for him many, many years ago. He was always concerned about my well being, which meant he had a kind heart. I remember both girls who were very young at that time. He was always so spunky and full of life. May God Bless his soul and May God comfort his family and friends.

I met Tom about 15 years ago, he was always so kind and willing to help others. I bought the house on 2nd St. from him and he was always available to help in any way he could. I consider myself blessed to have known Tom and pray the Lord will comfort his family. God bless you.

Oh, Tom! Having been your next door neighbor on Richfield, your customer when the cars broke down, and seeing you and my Dad behaving like the rascals you both were, I've got to say that this world lost a joyous bit of mischief when you left us. I remember your shop dog, Mister, the Great Dane with the necktie who fetched starters, your barefoot water skiing exploits on the often frozen river on New Year's morning, and the time you set the field on fire with those bottle rockets you and Dad were so fond of back in the 60's. My heart goes out to your daughters; I know the pain of losing a father since Dad passed two years ago. I hope you find each other "up there" and do your best to behave so St. Peter won't have any reason to send you "down there." Much love and peace to your family from the Lolley family!

Tom Olden worked on my car when it was considered to be totaled. He was a good person and took me to a singles event when I asked for a ride, and we were not dating. He was a good businessman, and very fair.
