August 12, 1969 - March 31, 2024
Wichita, Kansas - Tracy "Trey" Morrow Dower, 54, died on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Services will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 2:00 in the afternoon at East Heights Methodist Church.
Trey was born on August 12, 1969 to Tom and Sue Dower. The family moved to Wichita when Trey was just three, and he quickly became a proud Kansan. He later graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel before attending the University of Kansas.
A man of many interests, he spent much of his adult life working in management in the restaurant industry. The last six years were spent working at Home Depot, where he was able to share with others his long-held interest in tools and machines.
Trey was preceded in death by his son, Zachary. He is survived by his parents, Tom and Sue Dower; his daughter, Caroline, Andover; his two brothers, Tad (Mel) Dower, Hutchinson, and Timm (Tierney) Dower, Tulsa, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Charlotte (Rob) Ramseyer, Wichita, Elizabeth (Matt) Jaderston, Wichita, Ted (Sarah) Dower, Bessemer, Alabama, Madelyn (Austin) Scott, Olathe, Joe Henry (Savannah) Dower, Lenexa, Genevieve Dower, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Paul Dower, Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 North Hillside, Wichita, Kansas 67219 to honor Trey's love of rescue animals.

So sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers for all of his family. Hadn't seen Trey for 30 years, but when we did cross paths, it was like time never mattered. RIP Brother.

Tom and Sue: I want to offer my sincerest condoences to the passing of your son "Trey". I met him when he was the manager at the Old Town Old Chicago. He ran a top notch facility and my brother, Mark, and I enjoyed many meals there. I believe that in this time of your great sorrow you know that he is at peace. Be strong, Mr. and Mrs. Dower.
