Victor Aaron Obituary

GODDARD Aaron, Victor Dean, age 91, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003. He was born in Goddard and raised on the family farm southwest of Goddard. He attended Friends University in Wichita. He was a member of the 503rd Army Ordnance and fought in Europe in the WWII. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Clearwater, a charter member of the Goddard Lions Club, and belonged to the VFW of Kimberling City, MO. He was also a Goddard City Councilman for many years. Victor was the owner of AF&A Locker in Goddard and grinding room foreman at Wichita Brass & Aluminum in Wichita. He and his wife, Beulah, were married for 66 years. When they retired they moved to Table Rock Lake in Missouri where they lived for 25 years. Funeral Service Tuesday, 1 p.m. at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater. He was preceded in death by his parents. Joe and Effie Aaron; brothers. Lawrence, Leamon, Leonard, and Ted; sisters Lily Aaron and Violet Schureman. He is survived by his wife, Beulah (Higbee); daughter, Vickie Carter of Wichita; grandson, Erik Carter and granddaughter, Kellie Boles and their families including 4 great-grandchildren, all of Wichita; sisters, Margaret McIlroy of Goddard, Dollie Barnhart of Golden, MO, Betty Young of Wichita; many nieces and nephews. Memorial: Hospice Care of Kansas, 3241 East Victor Place, Wichita, KS 67208.
