Wichita, Kansas - Wanda Pauline Snyder passed away with her daughter Alisha Snyder and John Breiner by her side on September 1, 2021, because of complications from COVID and a brave battle with cancer. Wanda was born on January 13, 1945 in Hartman, Arkansas, to Lucille and Herbert Rinke. The family later moved to Wichita, Kansas. She married Lewis Snyder shortly after high school graduation, moved to Viola, Kansas, and later became a loving mother to Maxanne and Alisha. She enjoyed two long careers she loved with Artistic Formals and IFR/Aeroflex because of the people who she was surrounded by every day. In recent years, she took pleasure in travel, watching wildlife, and gardening. She is survived by daughter Alisha Snyder, siblings Earnest Rinke, Dave Rinke (Alice), Ruth Brown, Linda Buess, many nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as special friends Joey Barron, Ashley Beezley, and former co-workers. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, daughter Maxanne Snyder, brothers Bill Rinke, Ralph Rinke, Jim Rinke, George Rinke, Ronald Rinke, Frank Rinke and Russel Rinke. The family will hold a memorial service at a future date.

I am so sorry to learn, belatedly, that Wanda has passed. I have many loving, fond memories of a working with her at Artistic Formal Wear. She was a very dear friend and I am glad we had those times working together so many, many years ago. 316-943-0394

My condolences and prayers to the family. I got to know who Wanda was in the mid-90's and then the privilege of working under her at IFR/Aeroflex. Wanda had the leadership skills that made coming to work enjoyable, if production fell behind it was normal for her to grab an empty chair and bench and fall into the rhythm of the production line to get us back on schedule. Christmas always brought out the best in her even after retiring, she made sure we weren't forgotten with her special baked goodies. She was a special LADY who will never be forgotten.
