Yvonne and 8 have been friends since elementary school. We went through Nursing School together, we're in the same Sunday School couple's class together for many years. It's hard and sad to imagine not seeing her beautiful face and countenance again. When I think of "grace" I think of her. She has been a blessing to this world in so many ways. I remember Yvonne from Junior and Senior High School Days, and dated her a few tines back then. I totally agree with our high school classmates Rosella and Sharon; and simply and would simply add that I remember her as somewhat shy and reserved, but kind and focused on her self improvement. Jim and family, I am sorry for your loss. I knew Yvonne through College Hill UMC. In group discussions, I always wanted to hear what Yvonne had to say, as I knew her perspective would be unlike anyone else's, and her views would be filled with generosity and compassion. I will miss this grace-filled lady.

I cannot think of Yvonne without smiling! I know of no one who possessed a sweeter spirit and loving manner. Ellen, thank you for bringing your Mother and Father to our 60th High School Reunion last August. Yvonne had such a sweet and gentle spirit and it was a blessing to know her. I am so thankful I got to see her and visit with her at our 60th class reunion. Thank you Ellen for bringing her to our reunion. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was always so kind and friendly at our class reunions and was gracious enough to put up with our antics and the re-telling of stories over and over again. I'm so glad I got to meet her. Yvonne was a beautiful, gracious lady. She will be missed in our high school Round Robin which has been going since 1954. She always had a lovely smile for everyone.
Last time I was able to Hug Her in 2011 at my Dad's 90th Birthday
