Alvin Robertson Obituary

Alvin L. Robertson Sr., 83, of St. Peters, Mo., died July 27, 2008, at home. He was born April 4, 1925, to Albert Robertson and Navada Robertson in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Mr. Robertson was a Master Carpenter by trade and built many homes within the Missouri and Kansas area. He served in the United States Army. He is survived by two sons, Alvin Robertson Jr., Lansing Mich., and Mark Robertson (Rebecca), Overland Park, Kan.; three daughters, Christia Jones of St. Peters, Mo., Alveda (Otis) Gulley of Marshall, Mo., and Sheila (Donald) Grey of Cleveland, Ohio.; one sister, Lily Mae Ellis, Cleveland, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters-in- law and friends of many. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Robertson; his mother, Navada Robertson; his wife, Lovetta Robertson; his step daughter, Zella Cunningham; his four brothers, Wilson, George, Thomas and Johnny Robertson. An honorable graveside memorial was held at Jefferson Barracks Memorial on Wednesday, July 30, in St. Louis, Mo. So sorry for your loss. We have many great memories visiting your country home in the summer. Especially swimming in the pond!

It's a very nice write-up. Pops would be proud of all of his family.

I miss my bud, and there will always be a hole in my heart that will only be filled when I see him again.

Maybe then, we'll get to go fishing and catch more than turtles, eh?

My prayers are with all the family at this time of his trip home.

Huah.
