I didn't know Tony well but was always impressed with his warmth and openness. The smiles he shared with Sarah clearly spoke to their devotion to one another. These are but poor indicators of the whole person, so I know Tony wil be missed by the many who loved him. My thoughts are with you all.

There are different stages in your life where someone comes into it and you say “yes – that person is meant to be in my life and they are a true friend” . One such person, I meet over 20 years ago, and was a constant and steady in my life every since. I'm sad to say that I lost that friend on Saturday and I feel like a huge void has opened up in my heart. I'm sad for myself but not for him - I know he suffered so much for so long and he had to let go. I love you Tony and I will miss you very much. You left me with some great memories until we meet again.

Tony and I grew up like brothers in Independence. I know I will always have the great times we shared together as memories. I know you are in Heaven now and finally at peace. I will never forget our friendship.
