From day one in 1976 in Independence I remember the kindness of a good man who touched me like no other the father I never had. I call you dad for the love you constantly showed to everyone you made contact with. I have thought of you more often than you know to this day. You have influenced me more than you know to this day. You led me to Lord path and continue to seek till I see Him face to face. Till we meet again, love you

On this six month anniversary of my father's death I would like to thank each and every person who put an entry into his guest book. Each memory of yours helps keep him alive in our hearts as he always will be. Just before he died he asked his Grandaughter Sarah not to forget him. Little did he know there were many people he touched in life that will never forget him. Pastor, mentor, counselor, or friend; as well as father, grandfather and great-grandfather. We all have the memories we hold closest to our hearts. I think of him every single day and will do so for the rest of my life. Dad's love was great but the impact he left on those of us still here was even greater. Thank God he was my father.

Only a heavenly language can express how blessed I am to know, love and learn from Bro. Eggers teaching all my life - I know the Great I AM because he dedicated his life to JESUS, the Great I AM. Thank you, dear Pastor.

Becky, I am so sorry about your father passing. There are no words to make you feel better. Please know I am here if you need me, all you have to do is call. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time. We wished we could have been there to pay final respects to such a dear man of God. He will be truly missed. MY HERO, My Grandpa, My Dad . Taught me everything I ever needed to live life. Trust only in the Lord God, who gave His life on the cross as the payment for my sin and law breaking ways. He considered himself a tin cup, and we considered him a GIANT, not necessarily physically, yet you would disapear when he gave you a hug, but a spritual GIANT. He affected more people and helped change more lives than any one will ever know. I will miss his understanding ways, his timely advice and his humble heart and unending wisdom. He ran the race and fought the Good fight with his eyes on The Prize. Leading an army of faithful that would lay down their lives just as he would for him. He lived his life for the good of man and for the Glory of God.

I read about Pastor Eggers in the story of the Marines that visited him and were blessed with his stories. In our church we celebrate veterans every November with a special reception and honor their service to our country. They in turn bless us by sharing their memorabilia and stories, and they are our national treasures. They are our guardian angels. Pastor Eggers is certainly among many friends now, and most certainly alongside our Lord.

I am very grateful for the 6+ years of joy that Mom (Helen) experienced in marriage with Art. He had thoroughly learned the language of love as a bridegroom for the bride by being a devoted disciple of our Lord. With Art's wonderful communication skills, he blessed Mom daily in word and action as they made the most of his last years, together. I and my family have been forever blessed and delighted by Art's Godly example and his bountiful love extended toward us. We will miss his genuine love and easygoing presence in our family gatherings.
However, we rejoice for Art in his homecoming and look forward to the Day when we are together as one with our Beloved Bridegroom.
I pray the Lord will give grace and comfort for Mom and for each one of Art's family whose lives must embrace change because of his passing,
