Entine was predeceased by his parents, Ike B. and Rebecca W. Entine of Lexington, Missouri, and Overland Park, Kansas, his brother, Allen S. Thomas Day of Edwardsville, Illinois. He was the uncle of Sarah and Steven DeBruin and the great uncle of Alexandra all of Overland Park, Kansas. He is also survived by nephew and nieces, David and Samantha Zenlea, and Allison and Lauren Gadon, as well as many loving cousins and treasured friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at The Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. Interment will follow at the Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery. Shiva will be held beginning on August 2, at the home of Debra Entine in Overland Park, Kansas. Dear Rebecca,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Ben was an inspiration to everyone he met. He was a real "mensch". His love of Torah was part of who he was. He will be missed by all the people whose lives he touched. May his memory be a blessing to you and your family.

Jim and I want to express our heartfelt sympathy for the loss of Ben. I'm sorry that I could not attend the services because I am babysitting my three grandchildren. I was so glad to have reconnected with Ben through Facebook and it was such a joy visiting with him at our 40 class reunion. May the memory of Ben comfort you and the sympathy of friends sustain you in your families hour of sorrow.
