My deepest sympathy to the family of Beth Smith. She was such a guiding light in our community in many ways. She joins the ranks of those of blessed memory, my father Sidney Lawrence, our friend Esther Brown, and so many others who worked tirelessly for the betterment of humankind. Let us hope the good work will continue in future generations.

I loved Beth Smith. I am so lucky and grateful to have been one of the many that learned from her and was inspired to be a contribution by her example.
My love and sympathies to Beth's family and to all the many organizations her awesome inspiration created, encouraged and supported.

I am among the "cast of thousands" who owe a deep debt of gratitude to Beth for all she has done for me personally and for Kansas City and beyond. She shared her wisdom generously, and her humanity was an example unparalleled. I will always remember Beth, despite the onset of aging, standing on a tire 25 feet in the air on the ropes course at Wildwood. She tackled so many things in her life, and I am proud to call her my friend and mentor.
Dennis and I extend our deepest sympathy to Beth's wonderful family--I recall conversations with her about her family, and especially her grandchildren.

Dear Rabbi Tamar, I offer my deepest sympathy to you and your family during this time of sorrow. May your grandmother's memories be for a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Because of who she was and how she lived many women and children have better lives, and we have a stronger community. Her legacy will continue to spread as long as one person who she helped lives.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort and strength to endure this time of sorrow by drawing close to God who gives support to those who rely on Him. Psalms 145: 14, 18
