I worked with Jean at JKVE Home Health Care Agency in 1985-86. An example of her kindness and artistic ability was making a ceramic Christmas plate for my newborn daughter, to match her brother's decorative plate. She spoke lovingly of her family and her church family. Blessings in your grief journey.

I was sadden to hear the passing of your mother. She was such a joy to visit with during tax season when she came in for her appointment to prepare her tax return. I loved her adventurous side and the things she wanted to accomplish. She was a joy and I always looked forward to seeing her. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Deepest sympathies to you, Kennette, and your family. I so enjoyed working with your mom in the library at PVBC. We always knew that we could pass on those difficult Dewey numbers to her, and she cheerfully found the right numbers every time. Heaven has another great saint!

Our prayers are with Kenette and Brian and his family. Jean was a wonderful lady and must have been a wonderful Bible teacher, doing her own index to the Biblical Illustrator to aid her in lesson preparation. She contributed that indexing to the Southern Baptist Periodical Index for several years before her health began to fail. She was a great Christian example to us all.
