Blanche L. Ware

Blanche L. Ware, 84, passed away on March 9, 2007. Services 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 13 at Park Lawn Chapel, 8251 Hillcrest Road, where visitation will begin at noon. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. Born in Kansas City, MO on April l2, 1922 to Lester and Mary Huffman. She married Ernest H. Collins in 1940, who later passed away in 1948. Blanche and Bob Ware were married in 1951 until his death in December 1999. She was also preceded in death by her son, Martin K. Ware in 1975 and her sister, Mildred Brooks in 2004. Blanche and Bob lived at the Lake of the Ozarks, Laurie, MO for 25 years before moving to Blue Springs in 1997. She was a member of the Discovery Church and was a devoted Christian lady. She spent her final years at Monterey Park Nursing Center where she received wonderful care and attention. Thanks to all staff at Monterey Park Nursing Center. Blanche was survived by her son, Ernest "Larry" Collins, his wife, Janet of Blue Springs, also two wonderful grandchildren, Suzanne M. Baldwin and her husband, Bill and two great grandchildren, Andie, 5 and Trey, 3; grandson, Robert "Rob" Collins and his wife, Diana and great granddaughter, Josie Collins, 3 of Centennial, CO. I want to thank the wonderful personnel of Grace Hospice for their great support and loving care through the hard times.
