I remember Carl as a happy and pleasant person at the Santa Fe where we both worked. I don't recall him ever saying a harsh word to anyone at work. Mostly he loved his Shriner events. I saw him in the little cars at the Tonganoxie Fair parade several times. A great guy that seemed to always have a smile on his face.

I was so sorry to learn of Carl's passing. I enjoyed sitting by the burning tree limbs in the lot between our houses while he told stories of growing up there and of the midwife's cottage where I now live. Condolences to the family.

To Pat and family: Yes we will remember all the good times we had in Colorado and we will always miss Carl's trout paddies he cooked once a week while we were there in the summertime. Carl caught a lot of trout out of Echo Lake each year. But we do have a lot o memories.
