Today the Elgin Community School Community selected our elemtery class of 1958. Six of the eleven were present. Then your cousin broke the bad news of your passing. You and I were best friends during all those school days and lived across the street the last four yrs.....sharing everything as we left childhood into silly, happy young teens. I have thought about you especially this last two yrs,I truly loved you and missed you so. I and Bob have been in Wichita for yrs. My three grown children. Know you by name as they grew uo hearing stories of Carolyn and her sweet mother who took us everywhere. Please know all her classmates feel as I do. god bless all her family in their time of grief. Skip and Kelly,
It was such a pleasure to meet y'all. Carolyn will forever be in my heart and memory-you all will, really. Such a special family. You all have reminded me how real and tangible hope is. I remember my final conversation with Carolyn we talked for over an hour about recepies. We talked about our cooking techniques, a pinch of this and a dash of that. She is a true inspiration of what a fighter is. Kelly the love that you two shared..to witness that was breathtaking. I am so glad that you were able to spend such intimate and personal time with your sweet sweet mother and that I was able to just witness it for a bit. Thank you for letting me just a small small part of your world.

Skip and Family-Was shocked to hear about Carolyn. We were out of town over the weekend. Carolyn will be deeply misses by her family and all her friends. So Sorry for your loss. What a beautiful picture of her in the paper.
