I went to school with Chris. My heart goes out to Nicole and the kids. From putting on his armour in the military to putting on his armour for God...know that Chris's life was truly one lived in honor of that which he loved. May God wrap His arms around you and protect and comfort you at this time.

I wish I could hold you all, and that somehow my embrace could somehow, someway tell you how much love I felt from Chris. I knew him as "Kansas" on a website messageboard -- and I knew him to be a gentleman and an officer of God. He exemplified the very best of us, and I hope to one day be half the man he represents. Kind, considerate, and admirable to the highest degree. Thank you for sharing him with us. Thank you for your integrity, Chris. How I loved you. How I will adore your memory and your words and friendship.

I am a high school friend of Chris's mom, Sharron, and knew of him through the wonderful things she had shared prior to her passing. I know he is a man who loved the Lord, and that he and his mom are together again. I pray for comfort for his wife and children, and that, in time, treasured memories will help to ease their loss.

I knew Chris through an online MMA community. We never met, but he was still one of the most decent, kind, genuinely good people I never had the opportunity to meet.
