CLINTON DALE CHRISTY

Clinton Dale Christy of Avondale, MO, formerly of Browning, MO, died Sept. 21, 2012 at NKC Hospital. Clinton was born to Jay and Dorothy Christy on Dec. 16, 1943, in Milan, MO. On Feb. 25, 1972, Clinton married Karolee Rice in Kansas City. He was a 1961 graduate of Liberty High School in Browning, MO and was a member of Browning Baptist Church. He served in the US Army from 1961- 1967. Clinton worked for St. Regis Bag Co. for 35 years. He enjoyed car racing, visiting with friends and relatives, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Karolee of Avondale; 2 sons, Lyle Flanery of Avondale and Clint Chirsty (Kristi) of Chillicothe; 2 grandchildren, Annsley and Kirkland Christy; his mother, Dorothy Christy of Chillicothe, 3 brothers, Marvin Christy (Mary) of Cassville, Roy Christy of OP, KS, and Eldon Christy (Lisa) of Chillicothe; 3 sisters, Evelyn Graham (Bob) of Trenton, Francis Nickell (Kenny Ray) of Browning, and Carol Bennett (Charles) of Excelsior Springs, 2 brother-in-laws, Bob Rice (Beverly) of KC and Dale Rice (Debbie) of KC; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jay and brothers, James and David. Services are set for 11:30 a.m. Tues. Sept. 25, 2012 at White Chapel Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends from 10-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home Tuesday. Burial will be at Mt. Moriah Terr. Park Cemetery, KCMO.
