Daniel Lowrey Obituary

Daniel Earl Lowrey, 60, of Kansas City North, graduated from this life on May 28, 2003 and now is alive and well with his Creator. No more cancer! He fought the battle with strength, courage, dignity and valiantly. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Martha; his son, Tim Lowrey, Kansas City; his daughter, Lisa Smalley, son-inlaw, Jack, and his grandson, River of Farmington, NM; his mother, Martha E. Lowrey, Kansas City; four sisters, Joan Quattlebaum and her husband, Jim, Oskaloosa, KS, Donna Lowrey, Aurora, CO, Sandra Greer and her husband, Paul, Kansas City, Teresa Murphy and her husband, Stacey, Liberty, MO; 17 nieces and nephews and 14 great-nieces and nephews. He is now with our son, Steven; his father, Irl W. Lowrey; and brother, David Lowrey; and other family and friends. A celebration of Dan's life will be held Monday, June 2, at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, I-35 at M-291 Hwy., Liberty, MO, with visitation from 5-7 p.m. and funeral services at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Gladstone. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Dan's memory to the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Building Fund, 1600 N. M-291 Hwy., Liberty, MO 64068.
