It was quite a shock to hear of Danny's and Robert's deaths. It has been over 40 years since I lived essentially across the street from the McIntyres. I remember growing up with Danny and Mark in the early 1960s. We played ball and other kids games, had great fun together, and Danny was a good chum. I had such good memories of those years, and that is how I will always remember Danny.

The loss of not only a son but also a grandson is never easy, and Maria, to lose your son and someone that you was with for so many years is also un-imagineable. My heart goes out to you and know that although I am not there to show comfort, you are in my prayers. Please take care, an old neighbor, 5523 ww 92nd place, Bonnie (Chirila) Luth. I am now in California and again, you are in my prayers.

Dan has always been a good friend to me, and a great running partner when we where younger. It was great to see him and you too Andrew on the 4th of July. I am so sorry Mrs. McIntyre for your loss. My thoughts are with you.

It's hard to imagine a world without Dan in it. I loved his laughter, I loved his intellect. He loved to get me to argue politics with him. He will be greatly missed.

Maria and Andrew, I was so sorry to hear about Dan and Robert. They'll be missed. I wish I had gotten to see you guys more when I was in KC a couple years ago. I will praying for you guys.

I was shocked to read of Dan's passing in such a tragic way. Dan and his brother Mark were classmates of mine at both Nallwood Junior High School and Shawnee Mission South High School. I remember them well and think back fondly of those times.
