Hey Grumpy Gramps- Not a day goes by where I don't think about you. You taught me so much about life, and you definetly helped mold my sense of humor! I miss coming over and both of us chatting and falling asleep in the lazy- boys. We had some great conversations and the knowledge you passed on to me is priceless. I know you are taking care of mom and dad. Thank you.
Love, your Grumpy Granson, Shawn

Thank you so much for all the wonderful memories you gave to us. We will definitely miss you Grandpa Bowmar. Our visits to Kansas City were always that much more fun because of the trips to your house. Our last visit with you was such a great one, and one I will remember forever.

I will sure miss Mr. B. I always looked forward to his e-mails. I had a really nice one from him recently where he said what a nice family he had and how good they were to him and how lucky he was to have them. I always enjoyed my visits with him when I was in KC. He had a good sense of humor and he was a delight to be around. When Holly, Jared and Ross were younger, they always thought they had to go and visit Grandpa and Grandma Bowmar. They were always kind to them and let them play there with their cousins. We had great firework parties on their back deck. I will truly miss him, he was one of a kind. I know he is happy in heaven now. Diane Owen

We will miss you Grandpa Bowmar! You and Grandma Bowmar were always so good to my brothers and me. We have wonderful memories at your house, especially in the backyard playing and your dog "Trash"! I know you are comforted now being with your wife and daughter. You have strong grandchildren that have great qualities just like you did.
