David and I attended Center High School together. He was a young man with a free spirit that would not be confined. He was inquisitive, strong willed and was loyal to his friends. He was not the academic book learner but he explored learning outside the box. My dad was his guidance couselor in Junior High and I met him earlier when I attended activities after school. I had visited the home in Santa Fe Hills as Don had attended Colonial Presbyterian. David did not attend but on occasion was seen about the teen house. I lost track of him after his high school love and marriage to Becky ended. I organize the Class of '74 reunions and would like to learn more about his life over the last 45 years for our upcoming Oct 11th weekend reunion. We are welcoming the Center classes of '72-'76 back for a multi-year celebration to reunite as each class contributed to who we are today whether in class, neighbors or outside of school activities. I saw you welcomed David your dad into your home in Washington. That was one of his great attributes, one with a big heart and caring about others. Both my parents had health issues and developed Alzheimers in their later lives. Thanks for caring for my old friend, Joy Gieringer Weekly Please contact me so I can share about your dad or Don If you read thisabout your brother.

I am so sorry for your loss. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us that God is thinking thoughts of peace toward us, to give us a future and a hope. May this bring comfort to you at this difficult time.
