DAVID MESSMER Obituary

David A. Messmer, 87, passed away March 29, 2011. Services will be 1:00 pm Friday, April 1 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd. David was born March 1, 1924 in Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Joy Messmer; wife Jessie I. Messmer of 65 years, daughter Peggy Ann Messmer, brother Bob Messmer, sister Bertha Mae Lloyd, grandson J. D. Nussbaum, great grandsons Tony Messmer and Zachary Messmer. He leaves his children, Donna Perkins and husband Jim, Jess Messmer and wife Kathy, David Messmer and wife Debbie and Dennis Messmer; brothers, Ramen Messmer and Frank Messmer; sisters, Shirley Anderson and Rachael Roburg; eleven grandchildren; thirty six great grandchildren and twelve great- great grandchildren. (Arrangements: Park Lawn Funeral Home 816-523-1234).
