Olathe, Kansas - David H. Vaught, 75, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2024, in Olathe, Kansas surrounded by family. Born on April 30, 1949, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, David was a man of quiet demeanor, hard-working nature, and dry humor. A devoted family man and avid sports fan, David loved the Cardinals and Huskers.

David leaves behind his beloved wife of 55 years, Maureen Vaught; his children, Angela Sharma (Terry), Katie Rodriguez (Shaun), Michael Vaught (Danthea) and Lindsay Vaught (Christopher); and his cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Caroline, Ian, Colette, Graham, and Claire. He is also survived by his sister, Sylvia Helkenn (Chip), and brother, Jim Vaught. David was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ruth Vaught.
