Ken and Family. We are so sorry for your loss. Dee was a multi-talented wife, mother and a special worker for the Lord.
We remember the times spent with you in Manhattan, KS, in a care cell type group and caring for the children in the Westview Nurseries.
Sending blessings to you all. Also filled with joy as Dee is lovingly embraced by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. What a day that must have been!
Blessings, Greg and Mary Bell

Brother Ken - You know that we will be praying for your family during this time of passage. Dee is with Jesus; nothing could be better for her. All pain and suffering are over. She has crossed to bridge to eternal life. You, me, and our other disciples are left to build the kingdom while on earth. Dee did her part and we give her to the loving arms of Jesus. I will tell our old high school friends - Mark Jones, Conrad Lawrence, and J. D. Page to be praying for you my friend.

Well, first of all, my condolences and prayers to the entire Canfield family. Such a loss of such a great woman. I want to share my own memory and tribute to my dear Dee. I met Dee soon after we moved to Kansas City from California. I honestly don't remember if it was first at church (West HIlls) or at Kansas City Christian School. But it didn't take long to know we were going to be friends and "partners in crime", as we lead a musical at the school for our kids-- (Sarah and Chelsea in the same grade). A funny memory was as we were choreographing the "dance" (oops, that's where we went wrong) steps in the musical, and were firmly told, "there will be no dancing in this play. only marching." Dee and I chuckled a lot about that, as we added "hitler-youth style" march steps into the upbeat joyful song about the Lord! (what?! -- do you still hear my scoffing?) Anyway, Dee and I shared a lot about the work of the Holy Spirit in healing, tongues, and supernatural manifestations. We shared parenting helps with each other, lots of laughs, and later as our kids grew up, we gleaned wisdom from talks to both Dee & Ken, even though we had long left KC. The last time I got to see her was on their journey from Pepperdine back "home", and we had a wonderful time fellowshipping once again. Dee, I'm sad you're gone. Even though I didn't talk to you much living so far away, I knew you were there and thought of you often. I will miss you. I know you are dancing & praising before the Lord now....no one saying "march, please." ;0) I'm so grateful to have known you. You had a huge impact in my life, my friend.

Ken,
My prayers for God's peace and comfort are with you. And while we know that Deanna has gone to be with God, this path of sorrow is difficult to bear. Know that you are not alone in your grief.
