They danced hand in hand through life for 51 years. While raising four children Dennis had a successful 25+ year sales career at Cook Paint. Dennis' job took them to Grand Rapids, MI, where they spent the next 20 years where he enjoyed being with with his sons but Returned to KC in 2009 where his heart, son and daughter resided. Dennis was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He had a magnetic personality. Always a genuine smile and kind word to say to a stranger or friend. Passions included historic KC, art, theatre, gardening, dancing, music, his dogs and most importantly his 5 o'clock Scotch! Dennis is survived by his soul mate of 51 years, Janette, four children David Wiser (Tina); Rick Wiser; Allison Karges (Craig); Christian Wiser (Kerry) and 8 grandchildren. Dennis was a wonderful person to be around...genuinely interested and engaged in whatever you were doing...even if you were a hyperactive teenager. I look back on those days with a smile and enormous gratitude that I was able to spend so much quality time with a quality guy. God speed.

Dennis was such a delightful person. I had the pleasure of knowing him for several years, here, in Grand Rapids. My profound sympathy goes out to dear Jan. He and she were a winning combination. God be with you, Jan.
