DIANE WHITEHEAD

Diane Whitehead, 79, of Kansas City, MO, passed away November 3, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Burial will be Nov. 17, in Lamont, OK. Diane was born Nov. 27, 1932, in Lamont, OK, to Ruth and Bus Hamburg (both deceased). She was married to Dale Whitehead for 58 years until his death last November. She is survived by daughter Cindy Whitehead Hadley, and husband Steve; son Dale Whitehead, and wife Sandy; two grandsons Kevin Hadley and Devin Whitehead. Diane attended college at Northwestern State College, transferring to Oklahoma State University. She was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority. Diane was a longtime member of American Business Women Association, Daughter of the American Revolution, and the Mid- America American Saddlebred Association. Diane will be missed by her family and friends. Donations instead of flowers should be directed to the Northland Family Help Center or the Northland Animal Welfare Society (NAWS).
