DONALD FAUDEL Obituary

Donald William Faudel, 55, of Gladstone, Mo., passed away suddenly May 10, 2015. He was born Jan. 2, 1960, in Davenport, Iowa, to Donald C. and Betty (Wieck) Faudel. Don graduated from Davenport West High School in 1978 and then from Vatterott College in Kansas City, Mo., in 1994. Don worked in the heating and cooling business for many years and was employed by Embassy Suites Hotels as a maintenance engineer. Don was an avid NASCAR and KC Chiefs fan, enjoyed watching sports, flying remote control airplanes and was a member of the German Shepherd Dog Club of Greater Kansas City. Survivors include his mother, Betty Meewes and husband Kenneth of Davenport; brother, Greg Faudel and wife Ashley of Davenport; two nephews, Joshua and Joey; two nieces, Nicole and Karli; special companion, Willet George; and his beloved dogs, Ava and Cherokee. Per Don's wishes, cremation is planned. A visitation and celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to German Shepherd Rescue, 6128 College Ave., Kansas City, MO 64130. The Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville, Mo., has been entrusted with his final care.
