Spring, Texas - Doris A. Sandburg at The Village at The Woodlands Waterway in Texas, joined her son, Paul A. Sandburg and husband, Milo Sandburg in heaven on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. She was born on September 12, 1930, in Lockport, New York, to Stacy and Dorothy Aikin and is survived by her son, Mark D. Sandburg.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Amos Family Funeral Home located at 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas 66203. Visitation is at 10:30 am followed by a service at 11:00 am. Burial will be held at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery located at 13901 South Black Bob Road, Olathe, Kansas 66062, following the service.
A memorial service will be held at The Village at The Woodlands Waterway located at 2323 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380, on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

Dear Mark,
I often wondered if your mom was still alive. Your mom and dad were great friends of my parents. I am sure they are all together once again in heaven. So sorry for your loss, Theresa Carrico Stanley...Doug and Peggy were my parents.

Mr and Mrs Sandberg were great friends of my Mom and Dad. They called them Doris and Sandy. The fun is going on now in Heaven with this crowd. So very sorry for your loss. Theresa Carrico Stanley (daughter of Bruce Douglas `Doug´ Carrico and Peggy Ann Hennings Carrico).
