Today I found out my oldest and best friend has gone. I want to express my deepest sympathy to her family and friends who I know loved her dearly. She was smart, beautiful, vivacious, funny, and my friend. The first time I met Elaina was in our backyards, (they backed up to each other) when we were 4 years old? Throughout our lives we would drift apart, but always seemed to get back together, never missing a beat. We had the time of our lives during the mid 1980's, backcombing our hair, dressing in our punk rock outfits and cruising to Pogos in her 280Z listening to Yaz, or New Order as loud as it would go. We were so cool. Then we each got married and drifted apart. I had only seen her a few times in the past 20 years, and I know her health was holding her spirit back. I wish I would have spent more time with her or called her more often. Life goes by and we don't have time to notice. Elaina was my first friend, and someday, when we are all together again we will start where we left off, never missing a beat... . Elaina, you will always be in my heart. Your friend, Karin

My heartfelt condolences to Elaina's family and friends.
Just learned of her leaving us to be with Our Lord, I am happy for her joining God's Angels, but sad for the ones she left behind.
Only knew Elaina professionally, and with the few times in the last 10 years of having actually had conversations with her, I loved her laughter, and zest for life. She certainly is one to never be forgotten. Her laughter and smile, always inspiring, will always be with me.

We loved each other until the end. I know she waited for me to pay that last visit just before she died. Now there is a dark empty space her smile once filled. I'm glad she's at peace, and I know she doesn't want me to grieve for her, but I can't help it. I have never known a woman as sweet and kind as Elaina. For me, her legacy is all the ways she made my soul sing. We were lucky to have each other even though the time was short. She was always an angel. She gave me comfort and happiness when I needed it the most. As the days unfold the weight will lift, and I will remember Elaina at the Beaumont Club, laughing with her friends and looking around until she caught my eye and smiled.
