Elcie was a very important part of the dog therapy group. She got it moving forward in a positive direction and will be greatly missed. I didn't know her very long but she was a wonderful person and enjoyed going on visits with Pooh and I. Elcie we miss you and we will think of you often during our future visits to the nursing homes.

I will always be grateful for the time I spent with Elcie through the pet therapy program. She showed so much love, compassion and understanding towards Abby, me and all the residence we visited. Her unconditional love towards all the dogs and handlers in the program made her our Shining Star. Keep shining Elcie, you made a difference in our lives.

We were very saddened to hear of Elcie's passing. We had not known Elcie long but her dedication and love of animals helped us move along with our therapy dog program, ANGELS WITH PAWz, through the Dog Obedience Group in Blue Springs. We continued the program after she left her position with hospice and we will never forget the kindness she showed us and the patients. She was truly a treasure and will never be forgotten by all of us.

I did not know Elsie very long, but I came to be pretty good friends with her in our work place. She was a shining star in my world and I love and miss her so. God speed.
