Well this last month someone moved into the house where Mo and Ellen used to live on 90th St. It had been in renovations for over a year then for sale for a long time. Now it is a home again to someone. It is hard to see as I remember Mo and Ellen there along with Arjun and Jana and all the great times we had - sharing life together along with others on 90th St. Those memories are in my heart where they will stay.

November 2, 2015

I miss her and her energy and honesty. Mo, Ellen, Arjun and Jana will always be part of the wonderful memories of 90th St. Rest in peace Ellen. Thankful for the time we had you in our lives.

It's been a year today since you left us. You would be proud to see how Arjun and jana have come a long way and have become absolutely amazing young people. Rest at god's feet and continue to bless the children. Your presence is greatly missed.

For only a few days, I got to know you a bit. Your life came to be known for a short time. I am so sorry you are gone as you were a great nurse and a great human. Thank you, Ellen. I pray for you and your son and daughter.

Ellen, you have been my friend since we were in High School and we lived through some of the best and worst of times together, always loving and supporting each other. I will miss your wicked sense of humor, unconditional love, generosity and hearing your voice call me on the phone. Say Hi to your mom up there in heaven and keep watch over your beautiful children. Rest in peace my dear friend, your pain and troubles are over.

I'm not even sure what to say. I never dreamed Ellen would leave us. I met her 12 years ago and we hit it off as friends right away. We worked agency together and eventually we both were hired at KU and started on the same day. She was funny, a great nurse and she loved her children more than anything. Missing you already El.

Ellen was a funny, compassionate, and hard working mother and nurse. She loved Jana and Arjun, and was always proud of them. She was honest and straight forward about life's moments. I always enjoyed her, Mo, and the kids. You all are in my prayers.--Karen Spencer

What a shock. Ellen was my neighbor on 90th St. in Leawood. We used to go for walks and talk about life. She was a great go-to person for all those pesky medical questions people have. She was always willing to help. My deepest sympathies to Arjun, Jana, Mo and all the extended family.
