Mike, Anna, Cristen and family: I share your sorrow, but will always have such wonderful memories of Emily. May your memories bring you comfort and peace. I can't help but smile when I think of all the fun we had working together (especially going to workshops). I remember how excited she was to show me..."Look what Mikey bought me! Let's just sit in this car and smell it!" She touched so many lives as she taught. I'll forever cherish the support she gave me during tough times and the many words of kindness she gave both of us. Blessings, Cheryl and Janay Stone

Mike - our hearts go out to you, Anna and Cristan, Em's parents, Sarah and Matt.

Em was closer to me than my sister. I still have hanging on a wall an embroidered plaque that Em game to me about us being "sisters".

What a hoot she was. And, there is no doubt in my mind that she already has them laughing in heaven!

I was thinking back the other day to the first time that Em and I met in Cincinnati - either 1982 or 83. Then our "girl" outings in Vancouver while you "guys" were in meetings. I was so glad when you all moved to Virginia, and we got to be an "aunt and uncle" to the girls.

Em, or as Dave fondly referred to her as "Q", was such a strong shoulder for me in many personal circumstances. Tarry and Shelby also thought the world of her.

We are so grateful that Em was a part of lives. We will miss her dearly.

Anna, Bill, Mike & Cristen, My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am so sad! Your mom was so great, so caring and loving. She had that way of making everyone feel so welcome! Remember when we watched my wedding video, she cried like I was her own daughter! That was fun. You have so much to be thankful for, for knowing her as long as you did. May that bring you comfort in the days ahead.

Emily was my friend, neighbor and walking buddy when I lived in Kansas City. She was one of the most beautiful people I ever knew. Her husband and daughters were everything to her and she was extremely proud of them. But what I most remember about her was her crazy sense of humor. She was just so much fun to be around. Surely God has called her home to brighten up the heavens with her presence. My deepest sympathy to her family and many friends.

I share in your loss of Emily as she was a "one of a kind" individual. She was a huge influence for me during our teenage years. Emily shared her family with me and showed me what a normal family with lots of love could be like.

Emily's passing has hit me deeply and so I mourn with you. I will remember her laughter and devotion to her family and will be compassionate and emphathetic about her struggles in life forever.

My Deepest Sympathy,

Jackie Morlan
