Joe Bowman

1944 - 2026

Joe Bowman passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Plying his craft as a patent attorney for over 55 years, he helped shape innovation and creativity in diverse f ields. Never tiring of learning, he pursued all new interests with enthusiasm. Joe spent his leisure time hunting, fishing, riding his beloved mules and photographing his adventures. His passion for learning about nature lead him to volunteer as a docent at the Sonoran Desert Museum in Tucson, AZ. After moving to Payson, AZ, he, his mules and dogs volunteered with Tonto Rim Search and Rescue. Summers were spent in the Tobacco Root mountains of Montana exploring that beautiful country on his mule. Joe enriched the lives of many friends, colleagues and extended family. Happy trails dear one! In his memory, donations may be made to the Hematology Department at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ
