Dear Tree,

After 38 long years I remember meeting your mom and dad like it was yesterday. I pray God will encourage you in knowing that your dad is in complete health and peace. I am sure God is using him in His Kingdom in some glorious way! Your entire family is in my heart and my prayers.

Steve and Tree, your father was a symbol of his generation, simple, down to earth and hard working. Even though he was winding down his career with IBT while I was starting, I always new his presence in the tone he had set for IBT to function as a company.

My fondest memory of your father was when I was fortunate to go on a trip to Dallas and sit next to your father on the plane.

Even though he was retired and well established, he took the time to visit with me, discuss cost savings ideas for the home and elaborate on the value of shopping at Sam’s Club. It really showed me the caring and simple side of your dad.

He will be missed and always remembered.

Bonnie, Tree, and Steve:

I just found out today of Forrest's passing. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with you. Forrest and IBT gave me my beginning in business back in 1975. Without a doubt, Forrest set the tone for one of the best business environments around. All should be so lucky to have been a part of his legacy. A great man will be missed.

I only got to meet Great-Uncle Forrest a few times, but I was always in awe of him. The last I saw him was when my Grandmother, Marilyn Cloud (his sister in law) passed on. I will miss Forrest and regret that I wasnt able to visit with him more.

It was so sad to hear of F.L.'s passing. I remember back when IBT was a 3 store operation and a sales meeting was held in Dale's Basement in Topeka, KS. I also remember, later working with F.L. in the field. Days I will never forget. Our prayers go with the Cloud family, John and Shelley Bolling

One couple set out to create a comfortable life for themselves and their family. Little did they know how their lives would have such a wonderful and profound effect on the lives of so many to come.

Thank you, Forrest and Bonnie.

Bonnie and family,

In 1970 I encountered the passion and spirit that so greatly impacted Forrest’s relationships with family, friends, employees and everyone who knew him. That passion and spirit impacted my career at IBT - and my life. As Kevin shared at Forrest’s memorial service, Forrest’s passion and spirit survive in those who knew him.

Kevin also asserted that God places the greatest value on our relationships with His Son, Jesus.

My prayer is that the Passion of the Christ, the Comfort of the Holy Spirit and the Love of God, the Father, which shaped Forrest’s life and relationships will be real in the lives and relationships of everyone who encountered Forrest’s passion and spirit.

May God bless and keep us all!

It was with much sadness that we learned of Mr. Cloud's recent death. Although it has been several years since we last saw him, we realize the impact of his loss not only to his personal family but to his IBT "family" as well. We are honored to have known him. With deepest sympathy, Conveyors, Inc. Mickey West and Dalton Grisham

Dear Mrs.Cloud & Family,

I worked at Industrial Bearing from 1962 thru 1970, starting when they were at 25th & Broadway. I always thought Forrest was one of the greatest men I ever knew. Even though he was the boss and I was an employee he always had time for a smile and friendly word and always cared about everyone who worked for him. God bless you, you are in our prayers.

I always admired Uncle Forrest. He provided me and my family so many opportunities for some great summer vacations. He was so gracious in letting us use his cabin and house boat for so many years. I will always cherish those memories. Thank you Forrest for being a friend and a great Uncle. Love Rod
